The Covid-19 pandemic has forced us to keep our distance. If at the beginning of this crisis the fear for our health and the care for our loved ones were in the foreground, we got used to the new normality quite fast, with distance rules and masks. Although the danger is still there, the worries and joys of everyday life are returning more and more to the center of our thoughts. Man is an artist of survival, he enjoys life, children play, parents take pictures, old men read digital newspapers, girlfriends talk animatedly. It is these small moments that give me hope that this crisis will soon be overcome. About Photographer Eduard Maiterth is a German street photographer based in Heilbronn, Germany. He discovered in 2018 the street photography, a new world where he could best express himself. His photography is candid, mostly spontaneous, always seeking for the right balance between the story, light, composition and framing. It makes him happy, when all these things come together.
