SooA Kim (b.1991) is a media designer based in New York. She enjoys framing the experience with motion design. Kim is interested in socially constructed ideas within the sphere of performing arts and creating pre-visualization concepts for multimedia productions. Her recent credits include Park Avenue Armory, Mike Tyson’s Legends Only League, and Fitz and the Tantrums Winter Tour. Her work has been selected for exhibitions at Prague Quadrennial 2019; Hermitage Museum of Art in St. Petersburg; Heritage Space in Hanoi; Düsseldorf Festival; and Industry City in New York. She received her MFA in Video and Media Design from Carnegie Mellon University and BFA in Fine Arts from Parsons the New School for Design. <sooakim.com>
