Yujin Lee (b.1986) is a visual artist working across drawing, performance, video, and collaboration. Interested in relational art, automatic drawing, Korean shaman paintings, and the Buddhist concept of yuanqi (interdependent co-arising), Lee’s collaborative endeavors include 108 Bows (2013) with Emi Hariyam, Same/Difference (2015) with Nicole Won Hee Maloof, @im_there_r_u_here (2020~ongoing) with Aracha Cholitgul, and BeMuse (2021~ongoing) with Jo Ahra. Since 2019, she has hosted an international artist residency at her farmhouse, Next Door to the Museum Jeju. Lee received her MFA in printmaking from Columbia University and BFA in painting from Cornell University.
