Love is a fundamental emotion of human beings that is universal to mankind and has meaning as a power that enables a person to have a companionship with values other than human beings. And the artist viewed the emotion of love from various perspectives. The new LOVE series by Choi Yunjung asks questions about love through the colors and shapes shown in her work. Humans experience a lot in their lives and feel various emotions. In a rapidly developing society, our lives are both difficult and sometimes exhausting. In this selfish life with both desire and betrayal toward each other, Choi Yunjung focused on the feeling of love. The main colors used are white and bright pastel colors, which represent a psychologically warm emotion, or a happy state. Dividing the screen of the fragmented faces means separation of space. In that separated space, there is an invisible story. These images are represented in the form of lines and faces, and since emotions cannot be seen with the eyes, they are conveyed in a variety of colors rather than in a specific and realistic expression. Love is invisible to the eye The painting contains artist Choi Yunjung's thought that true love can be seen when viewed with sincere eyes full of souls. This work, which was expressed through the overlap and smudging of traces in the ambiguous boundary between brightness and saturation, can be seen as focusing on the fundamental emotions of human beings in a monotonous space.
